• a seal material formed between the first substrate and the second substrate,

• the resin portion comprises a concave portion, and
• at least a part of the seal material is accommodated in the concave portion.

• a plurality of spacers located in a display region and contacting both the first substrate and the second substrate,
• wherein
• the resin portion comprises a concave portion,
• the first substrate and the second substrate are arranged opposite to each other with a cell gap by the spacers in the display region, and
• a first gap is a gap between the protrusion and the second substrate, and is smaller than the cell gap.

• The display device according to claim 2, wherein
• a first gap is a gap between the protrusion and the second substrate, and the first gap is larger than zero,
• a height of the protrusion is larger than the first gap, and
• a second gap is a gap between first substrate and the second substrate through the concave portion, and is larger than the height.

• A display device comprising:
• a first substrate including a first side surface;
• a second substrate including a second side surface;
• and
• a resin portion and a protrusion arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate, wherein the resin portion and the protrusion include a third surface;
• wherein
• the protrusion is located on the resin portion and faces one of the first substrate and the second substrate with a void, and
• the first side surface, the second side surface, and the third side surface coincide each other in a plan view.

• The display device according to claim 11, further comprising:
• a seal material formed between the first substrate and the second substrate,
• wherein
• the resin portion comprises a concave portion, and
• at least a part of the seal material is accommodated in the concave portion.

• The display device according to claim 14, further comprising:
• an insulating layer located between the first substrate and the resin portion,
• wherein
• in the plan view, the concave portion overlaps the insulating layer.

• The display device according to claim 11, further comprising:
• a plurality of spacers located in a display region and contacting both the first substrate and the second substrate,
• wherein
• the resin portion comprises a concave portion,
• the first substrate and the second substrate are arranged opposite to each other with a cell gap by the spacers in the display region, and
• a first gap is a gap between the protrusion and the second substrate, and is smaller than the cell gap.

• a first gap is a gap between the protrusion and the second substrate, and the first gap is larger than zero,
• a height of the protrusion is larger than the first gap, and
• a second gap is a gap between first substrate and the second substrate through the concave portion, and is larger than the height.
