Detergent builder and dispersant synergy in calcium carbonate scale prevention

A cleaning composition selected from the group consisting of:

• a cleaning composition comprising, by weight, about 20% of a builder and about 4% carboxymethyl inulin;
• a cleaning composition comprising, by weight, about 20% of a builder and about 2% carboxymethyl inulin;
• a cleaning composition comprising, by weight, about 20% of a builder and about 1% carboxymethyl inulin;
• a cleaning composition comprising, by weight, about 20% of a builder and about 0.5% carboxymethyl inulin;
• a cleaning composition comprising, by weight, about 15% of a builder and about 2% carboxymethyl inulin;
• a cleaning composition comprising, by weight, about 20% of a builder and about 4% polyaspartic acid;
• a cleaning composition comprising, by weight, about 20% of a builder and about 2% polyaspartic acid;
• a cleaning composition comprising, by weight, about 20% of a builder and about 1% a homopolymer of acrylic acid with molecular weight of about 4500 g/mol;
• and
• a cleaning composition comprising, by weight, about 20% of a builder and about 0.5% a homopolymer of acrylic acid with molecular weight of about 4500 g/mol;
• wherein the builder is a mixture comprising, by weight, about 20% to about 75% disodium glucarate, 0 to about 10% sodium gluconate, 0 to about 10% disodium tartrate, 0 to about 4% disodium tartronate, 0 to about 4% sodium glycerate, 0 to about 4% sodium glycolate, 0 to about 4% sodium 5-ketogluconate, 0 to about 2% sodium 2-ketogluconate, 0 to about 10% disodium oxalate, 0 to about 10% sodium formate, 0 to about 2% sodium glucuronate, about 15% to about 40% sodium aluminate, 0 to about 7% sodium nitrate, and 0 to about 10% water.
