Abstract
Metal organic framework compositions can have a face centered cubic structure.
Claims20
A metal-organic framework composition, comprising:
- one or more of a hexanuclear metal cluster, each hexanuclear metal cluster comprising one or more of a rare earth metal ion;
- and
- one or more of a bidentate ligand.
A method of making a metal-organic framework, comprising:
- contacting one or more of a hexanuclear metal cluster, each hexanuclear metal cluster comprising one or more of a rare earth metal ion, with one or more of a bidentate ligand.
The method of claim 19, wherein the two anionic binding groups are linked by one or more of an aromatic group or hydrophobic group.
