Abstract
This invention relates to bio-renewable fertilizer compositions and methods of making and using the bio-renewable fertilizer compositions. In particular, the fertilizer compositions include biodegradable nutrient carriers, which have naturally derived, bio-renewable nitrogen content. The fertilizer compositions also contain biodegradable stabilizer.

A fertilizer composition comprising:
- a biorenewable nutrient carrier and a biodegradable stabilizer.
A method of fertilizing a plant comprising:
- applying a fertilizer composition to a surface wherein the fertilizer composition comprises between about 30 wt. % and about 95 wt. % of biorenewable nutrient carrier and between about 10 wt. % and about 65 wt. % of a biodegradable stabilizer.
A method of manufacturing a fertilizer comprising:
- mixing a biorenewable nutrient carrier and a biodegradable stabilizer to form a fertilizer composition, wherein the fertilizer composition is cast, pressed, or extruded.
