Abstract
An active agent for use in a method of, or for use in the preparation of a medicament for, treating or inhibiting the development of erectile dysfunction and/or incontinence following pelvic radiation treatment in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering said subject an active agent in a treatment effective amount, is described. The active agent has the general structure of Formula I or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.

A method of treating or inhibiting the development of erectile dysfunction and/or incontinence following pelvic radiation treatment in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering said subject an active agent in a treatment effective amount, wherein said active agent is a compound of Formula I:
- wherein:
- each R is independently selected substituted or unsubstituted aryl, heteroaryl, cycloalkyl, or heterocycloalkyl;
- each A is an independently selected hydrogen, an electron-withdrawing group, or electron donating group;
- M is a metal;
- and
- Z− is a counterion;
- or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
