Left Atrial Appendage Occluder

A method for occluding a left atrial appendage, comprising:

• advancing a left atrial appendage occluder located in a sheath, the left atrial appendage occluder comprising an elastic fixing frame, the elastic fixing frame comprising a central end and a plurality of struts extending outwardly from the central end and being symmetrically arrayed in a radial direction, each strut comprising a U-shaped section;
• and
• pushing the elastic fixing frame out of the sheath, such that tail ends of the struts overturn until the elastic fixing frame expands like an umbrella.

A method of retracting a left atrial appendage occluder into a sheath, comprising:

• retracing a fixing frame of an left atrial appendage occluder expanding like an umbrella into the sheath by using a connecting rod of a conveyor, the left atrial appendage occluder comprising an elastic fixing frame, the elastic fixing frame comprising a central end and a plurality of struts extending outwardly from the central end and being symmetrically arrayed in a radial direction, each strut comprising a U-shaped section, the tail ends of the struts overturning when the fixing frame is retraced into the sheath.

A method of assembling a left atrial appendage occluder into a sheath, comprising:

• assembling a fixing frame of a left atrial appendage occluder expanding like an umbrella into the sheath by using a connecting rod of a conveyor, the left atrial appendage occlude comprising an elastic fixing frame, the elastic fixing frame comprising a central end and a plurality of struts extending outwardly from the central end and being symmetrically arrayed in a radial direction, each strut comprising a U-shaped section, the tail ends of the struts overturning when the fixing frame is assembled into the sheath.
