Abstract
The invention relates to a method suitable for detecting, capturing and/or selectively releasing chemical elements selected from poor metals, alkalines, alkaline earths, actinides and rare earths. Said method involves a molecular assembly formed by at least one amine, and at least one aldehyde and/or an imine and/or CO2, or an adduct formed by the contact between an amine and CO2, and at least one of said chemical elements. The invention also relates to a kit for implementing said method for detection, capture and/or release.

A process for detecting and/or capturing at least one chemical element chosen from p-block metals, alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, actinide metals and rare earth metals in a sample comprising bringing:
- at least one amine and at least one aldehyde and/or one imine and/or CO2, or
- an adduct formed by bringing an amine and CO2 into contact,
- into contact with a sample comprising at least one of said chemical elements.
A process for releasing at least one chemical element chosen from p-block metals, alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, actinide metals and rare earth metals comprising the separation, at least partially, of the components of and the assembly formed by bringing:
- at least one amine and at least one aldehyde and/or one imine (formed by bringing an aldehyde and an amine into contact) and/or CO2, or
- an adduct formed by bringing an amine and CO2 into contact,
- into contact with a sample comprising at least one of said chemical elements.
A kit for detecting, capturing and/or releasing at least one chemical element chosen from p-block metals, alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, actinide metals and rare earth metals comprising at least one amine and at least one aldehyde and/or one imine and/or CO2, or an adduct formed by bringing an amine and CO2 into contact, in which the kit is provided in the form of a support appropriate for use in dynamic combinatorial chemistry.
