Abstract
An LED lamp A includes a plurality of LED modules 2 each including an LED chip 21, and a support member 1 including a support surface 1a on which the LED modules 2 are mounted. The LED modules 2 include a plurality of kinds of LED modules, or a first through a third LED modules 2A, 2B and 2C different from each other in directivity characteristics that represent light intensity distribution with respect to light emission directions. This arrangement ensures that the entire surrounding area can be illuminated with sufficient brightness.

An LED module comprising:
- a rectangular substrate having a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface;
- an LED chip disposed on the first surface of the substrate;
- a first pair of mount terminals disposed on the second surface, each mount terminal being electrically connected to the LED chip, and having a first side and a second side opposite to the first side, the first sides of the respective mount terminals facing each other in a direction parallel to the second surface of the substrate,
- wherein the second side of each mount terminal has a projecting portion as seen in a plan view.
