Method for Inspecting Mounting Safety, Device for Carrying Out the Method and Device for Adhesive Application

A method for checking security of installation of a joining element to be fixed to a component via an adhesive connection, adhesive being withdrawn from an adhesive receptacle and being curable by irradiation with light from a light emitter, the method comprising the acts of:

• monitoring a fill level of the adhesive receptacle;
• if a lower threshold value of the monitored fill level of the adhesive receptacle is reached, actuating a fluidic connection device of a second adhesive receptacle, which second adhesive receptacle has a fill level of adhesive higher than that of the first adhesive receptacle, in order to produce a fluidic connection to an adhesive dispenser;
• checking, via at least one sensor, an intensity of the light radiated from the light emitter;
• and
• if a threshold value of the light received by the sensor is undershot, outputting a signal that the threshold value of the light received by the sensor was undershot.
