Disclosed is a grooved grip having a body configured to be grasped by a hand comprising a channel configured to relieve pressure on a median nerve on a palmar surface on a hand.

An apparatus comprising:
- a T-shaped body;
- and
- a grip formed integrally with the T-shaped body and configured to receive a hand;
- the grip having a first side and a second side;
- and
- a recess formed between the first side and the second side, the recess having a shape corresponding to a median nerve on a palmar surface of the hand so that pressure on the median nerve is relieved.
