Electronic vaping device and components thereof

A cartridge of an electronic vaping device, the cartridge comprising:

• an outer housing extending in a longitudinal direction;
• an air inlet;
• a vapor outlet;
• an inner tube within the outer housing defining a central air passage which communicates with the air inlet and the vapor outlet, the inner tube having a first end and a second end;
• a reservoir including a pre-vapor formulation in an annular space between the outer housing and the inner tube;
• and
• a gasket within the outer housing of the cartridge, the gasket including,
• a base with a central orifice extending through the base, the base including a portion extending generally perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the cartridge, and
• a circumferential projection including a guide surface on an inner surface of the projection, the guide surface being a frustoconical surface that declines a top surface of the projection to the base, the central orifice in communication with the central air passage, portion of the inner tube being positioned within the guide surface, and the gasket sealing an end of the reservoir.
