Microfluidic delivery system for releasing fluid compositions

A method of connecting a microfluidic delivery refill with a microfluidic delivery system, wherein the microfluidic delivery refill comprises a rigid microfluidic delivery member having a die and electrical leads that are in electrical communication with the die, wherein the electrical leads terminate at electrical contacts, wherein the electrical contacts are disposed on a first plane, the method comprising the steps of:

• providing a housing having an interior and an exterior;
• and
• sliding the microfluidic delivery refill toward the interior of the housing in a direction parallel with the first plane.

A microfluidic delivery system comprising:

• a housing;
• a microfluidic delivery refill releasably connectable with the housing, wherein the refill comprises a rigid microfluidic delivery member having a die and electrical traces that are in electrical communication with the die, wherein the electrical traces terminate at electrical contacts, wherein the electrical contacts and the die are disposed on parallel planes.
