Location and pairing of devices on a local area network using a unique identifier

A computing device, comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• a memory having instructions stored thereon, which when executed by the one or more processors, cause the computing device to perform operations including:
• generating, at a network device on a network, a setup access point;
• facilitating a communication connection between the setup access point and a computing device;
• receiving a token identifier, wherein the token identifier includes identification data corresponding to the computing device;
• receiving a notification including an indication that the communication connection has been terminated;
• receiving a query including a request to establish a new communication connection;
• transmitting a communication including a response to the query, wherein the response indicates that the new communication connection was established using the token identifier.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having instructions stored thereon, which when executed by a computing device, cause the computing device to:

• generate, at a network device on a network, a setup access point;
• facilitate a communication connection between the setup access point and a computing device;
• receive a token identifier, wherein the token identifier includes identification data corresponding to the computing device;
• receive a notification including an indication that the communication connection has been terminated;
• receive a query including a request to establish a new communication connection;
• transmit a communication including a response to the query, wherein the response indicates that the new communication connection was established using the token identifier.
