Abstract
Disclosed is a method of performing a function of an electronic device. The method includes: detecting a first hovering object in proximity to the electronic device; measuring a first coordinate of at least one point included on a surface of the first hovering object based on detection of the first hovering object; generating first shape information on the first hovering object based on the first coordinate; and setting a function to be executed in accordance with the first shape information.
Claims20
A method of performing a function of an electronic device, the method comprising:
- detecting a first hovering object in proximity to the electronic device;
- measuring a first coordinate of at least one point included on a surface of the first hovering object based on detection of the first hovering object;
- generating first shape information on the first hovering object based on the first coordinate;
- and
- setting a function to be executed in accordance with the first shape information.
An electronic device comprising:
- a touch screen for detecting a first hovering predetermined object in proximity to the electronic device;
- a storage unit for storing shape information on the first hovering predetermined object and a setting of a function to be executed in accordance with the shape information;
- and
- a controller for measuring a first coordinate of at least one point on a surface of a first hovering predetermined object based on detection of the first hovering predetermined object, generating first shape information on the first hovering predetermined object based on the first coordinate, and setting a function to be executed in accordance with the first shape information.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a plurality of instructions, the plurality of instructions comprising commands for performing a process in an electronic device, the process comprising:
- detecting a first hovering object in proximity to the electronic device;
- measuring a first coordinate of at least one point on a surface of the first hovering object based on detection of the first hovering object;
- generating first shape information on the first object based on the first coordinate;
- and
- setting a function to be executed in accordance with the first shape information.
