An audiovisual navigation system and method displays a geographical site in the form of audiovisual data to create an interactive, visually enhanced navigational tool useful for receiving graphical directions and suggestions while traveling. Each geographical site correlates to a unique audiovisual data that is stored in a database. For example, each street has its own video, and each building has its own set of images that display at the appropriate time.
