System, method and computer-accessible medium for secure and compressed transmission of genomic data

A method for generating an encrypted reference-based secure-compression of randomly located short sequence reads from at least one genome, comprising:

• (a) obtaining information related to the randomly located short sequence reads;
• (b) obtaining second information related to a plurality of reference sequences for the at least one genome;
• (c) generating third information related to at least one set of edits call containing location information based on the first and second information using a base-calling procedure and an alignment procedure;
• and
• (d) using a computer hardware arrangement, generating the encrypted reference-based secure-compression of the first information based on the third information.

A system for generating an encrypted reference-based secure-compression of randomly located short sequence reads from at least one genome, comprising:

• a computer hardware arrangement configured to:
• (a) obtain information related to the randomly located short sequence reads;
• (b) obtain second information related to a plurality of reference sequences for the at least one genome;
• (c) generate third information related to at least one set of edits call containing location information based on the first and second information using a base-calling procedure and an alignment procedure;
• and
• (d) generate the encrypted reference-based secure-compression of the first information based on the third information.

A non-transitory computer-accessible medium having stored thereon computer-executable instructions for generating at least one edit-call including locational information, wherein, when a computer arrangement executes the instructions, the computer arrangement is configured to perform procedures comprising:

• (a) obtaining first information related to a plurality of encrypted reference-based secure-compressions of short sequence read data;
• (b) obtaining second information related to a plurality of reference sequences;
• and
• (c) generating the at least one edit-call based on the first and second information.

A method for generating at least one edit-call including locational information, comprising:

• (a) obtaining first information related to a plurality of encrypted reference-based secure-compressions of short sequence read data;
• (b) obtaining second information related to a plurality of reference sequences;
• and
• (c) using a computer hardware arrangement, generating the at least one edit-call based on the first and second information.

A system for generating at least one edit-call including locational information, comprising:

• a computer hardware arrangement configured to:
• (a) obtain first information related to a plurality of encrypted reference-based secure-compressions of short sequence read data;
• (b) obtain second information related to a plurality of reference sequences;
• and
• (c) generate the at least one edit-call based on the first and second information.
