Abstract
A tool for administering virtual recognition of a group of users is provided. The group of users may be specifically identified or dynamically generated based on criteria selected by an administrative entity submitting a request to administer virtual recognition. The tool may be configured for generating user and badge recommendations based at least in part on the group of users identified to receive the virtual recognition.
Claims25
A computer-implemented method of facilitating a virtual recognition, said method comprising:
- receiving, at a host database system, a recipient list identifying a plurality of users, said plurality of users comprising at least a first group of users selected for said virtual recognition;
- determining, by said host database system, availability of one or more digital badges, said determination based at least in part on credentials associated with an administrative entity;
- receiving, at said host database system, selection of at least one digital badge representative of said virtual recognition;
- and
- transmitting, by said host database system, said at least one digital badge to said plurality of users identified in said recipient list.
A database system, comprising:
- a processing system;
- and
- a memory device communicatively coupled to said processing system, said memory device having instructions stored thereon that, in response to execution by said processing system, cause said processing system to perform operations comprising:
- receiving a recipient list identifying a plurality of users, said plurality of users comprising at least a first group of users selected for said virtual recognition;
- determining availability of one or more digital badges, said determination based at least in part on credentials associated with an administrative entity;
- receiving selection of at least one digital badge representative of said virtual recognition;
- and
- transmitting said at least one digital badge to said plurality of users identified in said recipient list.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having instructions encoded thereon that, when executed by a processing system, cause said processing system to perform operations comprising:
- receiving a recipient list identifying a plurality of users, said plurality of users comprising at least a first group of users selected for said virtual recognition;
- determining availability of one or more digital badges, said determination based at least in part on credentials associated with an administrative entity;
- receiving selection of at least one digital badge representative of said virtual recognition;
- and
- transmitting said at least one digital badge to said plurality of users identified in said recipient list.
