Abstract
A method and network equipment for controlling power amplification are disclosed. The method for controlling power amplification includes outputting a voltage signal according to the state of network equipment. When the network equipment is in an idle state, at least one power amplifier transistor is switched off according to a voltage signal.
Claims25
A method for controlling power amplification, the method comprising:
- determining whether a network equipment is in an idle state or in a busy state;
- and
- when the network equipment is in the idle state, outputting a first voltage signal to a grid electrode or a base electrode of at least one power amplifier transistor in a power amplifier in order to enable the power amplifier transistor to switch off according to the first voltage signal, wherein the idle state indicates that the network equipment is not accessed by any subscriber.
A power amplification controller used in a network equipment, wherein the power amplification controller is configured to determine whether the network equipment is in an idle state or in a busy state and when the network equipment is in the idle state, output a first voltage signal to a grid electrode or a base electrode of at least one power amplifier transistor in a power amplifier in order to enable the power amplifier transistor to switch off according to the first voltage signal;
- wherein the idle state indicates that the network equipment is not accessed by any subscriber.
A method for controlling power amplification, the method comprising:
- determining whether a network equipment is in an idle state or in a busy state;
- and
- when the network equipment is in the idle state, outputting a first voltage signal to a grid electrode or a base electrode of at least one power amplifier transistor in a power amplifier in order to enable the power amplifier transistor to switch off according to the first voltage signal, wherein the idle state indicates that the network equipment is not required to output a radio frequency (RF) signal during a transmitting time slot.
A power amplification controller used in a network equipment, wherein the power amplification controller is configured to determine whether the network equipment is in an idle state or in a busy state and when the network equipment is in the idle state, output a first voltage signal to a grid electrode or a base electrode of at least one power amplifier transistor in a power amplifier in order to enable the power amplifier transistor to switch off according to the first voltage signal;
- wherein the idle state indicates that the network equipment is not required to output a radio frequency (RF) signal during a transmitting time slot.
A network equipment comprising a power amplification controller and a power amplifier, wherein the power amplification controller is configured to determine whether the network equipment is in an idle state or in a busy state and when the network equipment is in the idle state, to output a first voltage signal to a grid electrode or a base electrode of a power amplifier transistor in the power amplifier in order to enable the power amplifier transistor to switch off according to the first voltage signal;
- wherein the idle state indicates that the network equipment is not required to output a radio frequency (RF) signal during a transmitting time slot.
