Abstract
A secondary battery is disclosed. In one aspect, the secondary battery includes an electrode assembly and an exterior member accommodating the electrode assembly. The exterior member includes a flexible pouch and a can connected to the pouch and formed of a material having a greater hardness than that of the pouch.

- an electrode assembly;
- and
- an exterior member accommodating the electrode assembly,
- wherein the exterior member comprises:
- a flexible pouch;
- and
- a can connected to the pouch and formed of a material having a greater hardness than that of the pouch.
