Abstract
A curved secondary battery includes an electrode assembly including a first electrode plate, a second electrode plate, and a separator between the first and second electrode plates, a can accommodating the electrode assembly, the can being curved and portions of the can having different thicknesses in a bending direction of the can, the can having an opening in a side thereof that provide a passage for the electrode assembly, and a cap plate sealing the opening of the can.
Claims20
A curved secondary battery, comprising:
- an electrode assembly including a first electrode plate, a second electrode plate, and a separator between the first and second electrode plates;
- a can accommodating the electrode assembly, the can being curved and portions of the can having different thicknesses in a bending direction of the can, the can having an opening in a side thereof that provide a passage for the electrode assembly;
- and
- a cap plate sealing the opening of the can.
