Abstract
Disclosed is a method of controlling a display of an electronic device. The method may include: determining a current situation of the electronic device by using at least one piece of state information on the electronic device and surrounding information on the electronic device by the electronic device; and turning on or off at least some areas of the display according to the determined current situation by the electronic device.
Claims16
A method of controlling a display of an electronic device, comprising:
- determining a current situation of the electronic device using at least one piece of information of the electronic device, the at least one piece of information including at least one of state information of the electronic device and surrounding information of the electronic device by the electronic device;
- and turning on or off at least some areas of the display according to the determined current situation by the electronic device.
An electronic device comprising:
- a display;
- a sensor module that detects at least one piece of information including at least one piece of state information of the electronic device and surrounding information of the electronic device;
- and
- a controller configured to determine a current situation of the electronic device using the at least one piece of the information detected by the sensor module and to turn on or off at least some areas of the display based on the current situation.
