Event Notification System and Method

A method of filtering event notification messages to a physical wireless communication device, comprising:

• pre-registering, at a physical registration server, a physical wireless consumer communication device requesting receipt of event notification messages of designated subject matter;
• receiving, at a physical notification server, a plurality of event notification messages;
• filtering, by said physical notification server, said plurality of event notification messages to a sub-plurality that include content matching said designated subject matter preregistered for said physical wireless consumer communication device;
• assigning a claim check, from among a pool of claim checks, pointing to at least one of said sub-plurality of event notification messages;
• transmitting, from said physical notification server to said pre-registered physical wireless consumer communication device, a notification message including said assigned claim check;
• authenticating a user response message from said pre-registered physical wireless consumer communication device relating to said claim check;
• and
• triggering, in response to said authentication of said user response message, transmission of said at least one of said sub-plurality of event notification messages to said pre-registered physical wireless consumer communication device.

A method of filtering event notification messages to a physical wireless communication device, comprising:

• pre-registering, at a physical registration server, a physical wireless consumer communication device requesting receipt of event notification messages of designated subject matter;
• receiving, at a physical notification server, a plurality of event notification messages;
• filtering, by said physical notification server, said plurality of event notification messages to a sub-plurality that include content matching said designated subject matter preregistered for said physical wireless consumer communication device;
• assigning a claim check, from among a pool of claim checks, pointing to said sub-plurality of event notification messages;
• transmitting, from said physical notification server to said pre-registered physical wireless consumer communication device, a notification message including said assigned claim check;
• authenticating a user response message from said pre-registered physical wireless consumer communication device relating to said claim check;
• and
• triggering, in response to said authentication of said user response message, transmission of said sub-plurality of event notification messages to said pre-registered physical wireless consumer communication device.
