Imaging processing system and method and management apparatus

A control apparatus for controlling one or more image capturing apparatuses, the control apparatus comprising:

• an entry time determination unit configured to determine whether a time at which an imaging object enters an imageable area of the one or more image capturing apparatuses is included within a predetermined time period;
• and
• a tracking determination unit configured to determine, according to a result of determination performed by the entry time determination unit, whether the imaging object which enters the imageable area of the one or more image capturing apparatuses is tracked by the one image capturing apparatus or one of the more image capturing apparatuses.

A method for controlling one or more image capturing apparatuses, the method comprising:

• making an entry time determination on whether a time at which an imaging object enters an imageable area of the one or more image capturing apparatuses is included within a predetermined time period;
• and
• determining, according to a result of the entry time determination, whether the imaging object which enters the imageable area of the one or more image capturing apparatuses is tracked by the one image capturing apparatus or one of the more image capturing apparatuses.

A computer-readable storage medium containing computer-executable instructions for controlling one or more image capturing apparatuses, the medium comprising:

• computer-executable instructions for making entry time determination on whether a time at which an imaging object enters an imageable area of the one or more image capturing apparatuses is included within a predetermined time period;
• and
• computer-executable instructions for determining, according to a result of the entry time determination, whether the imaging object which enters the imageable area of the one or more image capturing apparatuses is tracked by the one image capturing apparatus or one of the more image capturing apparatuses.
