Abstract
At least one example embodiment discloses an image feature extracting method. The method includes determining a probabilistic model based on pixel values of pixels in a kernel, determining image feature information of a current pixel of the pixels in the kernel and determining whether to change the image feature information of the current pixel based on a random value and a probability value of the current pixel, the probability value being based on the probabilistic model.
Claims20
An image feature extracting method, comprising:
- determining a probabilistic model based on pixel values of pixels in a kernel;
- determining image feature information of a current pixel of the pixels in the kernel;
- and
- determining whether to change the image feature information of the current pixel based on a random value and a probability value of the current pixel, the probability value being based on the probabilistic model.
An image feature extracting method, comprising:
- determining a gradient angle and a gradient magnitude of a current pixel;
- determining a bin in a histogram to determine a histogram of orientation gradient (HOG) feature, the bin corresponding to the gradient angle;
- and
- determining whether to re-determine the bin based on a probability value of a probabilistic model and the gradient magnitude.
A face recognition method, comprising:
- detecting a facial landmark from an input image;
- determining image feature information of the facial landmark based on a probabilistic model;
- and
- performing face recognition based on the image feature information of the facial landmark.
