Abstract
Methods, systems, computer program products, and articles of manufacture for processing events are described. An event is obtained and the event is processed to generate data using a first set of one or more operators. The generated data is stored in a first column store with a first row/transaction identifier and the first row/transaction identifier is stored in one or more first processing queues to enable further processing of the event using a second set of one or more operators.
Claims20
A method of processing an event, comprising:
- obtaining the event;
- generating data by processing the event using a first set of one or more operators;
- storing the generated data in a first column store with a first row/transaction identifier;
- and
- storing the first row/transaction identifier in one or more first processing queues to enable further processing of the event using a second set of one or more operators.
An apparatus for processing an event, the apparatus comprising an event processing module configured to:
- obtain the event;
- generate data by processing the event using a first set of one or more operators;
- store the generated data in a first column store with a first row/transaction identifier;
- and
- store the first row/transaction identifier in one or more first processing queues to enable further processing of the event using a second set of one or more operators.
A non-transitory machine-readable storage medium comprising instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a machine, cause the machine to perform operations comprising:
- obtaining the event;
- generating data by processing the event using a first set of one or more operators;
- storing the generated data in a first column store with a first row/transaction identifier;
- and
- storing the first row/transaction identifier in one or more first processing queues to enable further processing of the event using a second set of one or more operators.
