Abstract
A method for computing a spatial Fourier transform for an event-based system includes receiving an asynchronous event output stream including one or more events from a sensor. The method further includes computing a discrete Fourier transform (DFT) matrix based on dimensions of the sensor. The method also includes computing an output based on the DFT matrix and applying the output to an event processor.
Claims20
A method for computing a spatial Fourier transform for an event-based system, comprising:
- receiving an asynchronous event output stream comprising at least one event from a sensor;
- computing a discrete Fourier transform (DFT) matrix based at least in part on dimensions of the sensor;
- computing an output based at least in part on the DFT matrix;
- and
- applying the output to an event processor.
An apparatus for computing a spatial Fourier transform for an event-based system, comprising:
- means for receiving an asynchronous event output stream comprising at least one event from a sensor;
- means for computing a discrete Fourier transform (DFT) matrix based at least in part on dimensions of the sensor;
- means for computing an output based at least in part on the DFT matrix;
- and
- means for applying the output to an event processor.
An apparatus for computing a spatial Fourier transform for an event-based system, comprising:
- a memory unit;
- and
- at least one processor coupled to the memory unit, the at least one processor configured:
- to receive an asynchronous event output stream comprising at least one event from a sensor;
- to compute a discrete Fourier transform (DFT) matrix based at least in part on dimensions of the sensor;
- to compute an output based at least in part on the DFT matrix;
- and
- to apply the output to an event processor.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium having program code recorded thereon, the program code, for computing a spatial Fourier transform for an event-based system, being executed by a processor and comprising:
- program code to receive an asynchronous event output stream comprising at least one event from a sensor;
- program code to compute a discrete Fourier transform (DFT) matrix based at least in part on dimensions of the sensor;
- program code to compute an output based at least in part on the DFT matrix;
- and
- program code to apply the output to an event processor.
