Profile-driven merging of api components

A computer program product comprising a computer readable storage medium having stored thereon:

• first program instructions programmed to provide a first Terms of Service (ToS) portion of a first application programming interface (API), with the first ToS portion including a first ToS feature value for a first ToS feature;
• second program instructions programmed to provide a second ToS portion of a second API, with the second ToS portion including a second ToS feature value for the first ToS feature;
• and
• third program instructions programmed to merge, at least, the first ToS portion and the second ToS portion, according to a set of ToS merger rule(s) applied by machine logic, to generate a merged ToS;
• wherein:
• the set of ToS merger rule(s) includes a first rule including a first rule invocation condition and a first rule consequential operation, where the first rule consequential operation combines at least the first ToS feature value and the second ToS feature value according to a set of operator(s) to generate a first merged ToS feature value included as the first ToS feature in the merged ToS.

A computer system comprising:

• a processor(s) set;
• and
• a computer readable storage medium;
• wherein:
• the processor set is structured, located, connected and/or programmed to run program instructions stored on the computer readable storage medium;
• and
• the program instructions include:
• first program instructions programmed to provide a first Terms of Service (ToS) portion of a first application programming interface (API), with the first ToS portion including a first ToS feature value for a first ToS feature;
• second program instructions programmed to provide a second ToS portion of a second API, with the second ToS portion including a second ToS feature value for the first ToS feature;
• and
• third program instructions programmed to merge, at least, the first ToS portion and the second ToS portion, according to a set of ToS merger rule(s) applied by machine logic, to generate a merged ToS;
• wherein:
• the set of ToS merger rule(s) includes a first rule including a first rule invocation condition and a first rule consequential operation, where the first rule consequential operation combines at least the first ToS feature value and the second ToS feature value according to a set of operator(s) to generate a first merged ToS feature value included as the first ToS feature in the merged ToS.
