Terminal apparatus and operation designation method

An operation designation method that is implemented by a terminal apparatus, the operation designation method comprising:

• a position determination step of determining a position of the terminal apparatus;
• an imaging step of capturing an image;
• a direction determination step of determining an imaging direction of the imaging step;
• an identification step of identifying an input/output apparatus that has been captured in the imaging step based on position information of the input/output apparatus, the position of the terminal apparatus, and the imaging direction;
• an operation step of accepting an operation of a user with respect to the image captured in the imaging step including an image of the input/output apparatus that is displayed by a display unit;
• and
• a request processing step of making a request to the input/output apparatus for an operation to be performed by the input/output apparatus based on the operation of the user with respect to the image captured in the imaging step including the image of the input/output apparatus.

A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing a program that, when executed by a computer, causes the computer to execute a method of controlling a terminal apparatus, the method comprising:

• a position determination step of determining a position of the terminal apparatus;
• an imaging step of capturing an image;
• a direction determination step of determining an imaging direction of the imaging step;
• an identification step of identifying an input/output apparatus captured in the imaging step based on position information of the input/output apparatus, the position of the terminal apparatus, and the imaging direction of the imaging step;
• an operation step of accepting an operation of a user with respect to the image captured in the imaging step including an image of the input/output apparatus that is displayed by a display unit;
• and
• a request processing step of making a request to the input/output apparatus for an operation to be performed by the input/output apparatus based on the operation of the user with respect to the image captured in the imaging step including the image of the input/output apparatus.
