Abstract
Layer structure for a touch panel, and a touch panel using the same are provided. In an embodiment, the layer structure includes a substrate; a transparent conductive layer, and an opaque area. The transparent conductive layer, disposed on the substrate, includes at least one electrode. The opaque area, disposed on a peripheral area of the transparent conductive layer, includes a conductive film layer. In addition, the opaque area can further include a dielectric film layer.

A layer structure for a touch panel, comprising:
- a substrate;
- a transparent conductive layer, disposed on the substrate, comprising at least one electrode;
- and
- an opaque area, disposed on a peripheral area of the transparent conductive layer, comprising a conductive film layer.

- an upper structure for providing an active area and a frame area, comprising:
- a first substrate;
- a first transparent conductive layer, disposed on the first substrate, comprising at least one electrode;
- and
- an opaque area, disposed on a peripheral area of the first transparent conductive layer, including a conductive film layer;

- a lower structure comprising:
- a second substrate;
- and
- a second transparent conductive layer disposed on the second substrate.
