Claims33
A dental alignment apparatus for aligning and positioning one or more prosthodontic restoration members selected from the group consisting of dental implant anchor, implant abutment, abutment assembly, implant pivot, in substantially parallel alignment relative to at least one reference prosthodontic restoration member disposed on the same jaw, the reference member selected from the group consisting of curvature of the jaw, teeth, restoration, abutments, abutment assembly, dental implant anchors, prosthodontics members, prosthodontics elements on the same jaw, characterized in that said alignment and position is provided in at least two axes, the apparatus comprising:
- a. at least two alignment arm members (220) for aligning along a first axis, said alignment arms provided to associate with said prosthodontic restoration members including, a first alignment arm member (220) for associating with said reference prosthodontic restoration;
- and at least one alignment arm member (220) associated with said non-reference prosthodontic restoration members;
- said alignment arm (220) having an elongated body including at least one receiving bore (220b) adjacent to an end thereof, said receiving bore (220b) provided for associating with said prosthodontic restoration member;
- and
- b. at least one alignment bridge (210) for aligning along a second axis, said bridge having a substantially three dimensional rectangular frame construct comprising two substantially parallel surfaces (210a, b) along its length and two parallel ends (210c,d), said parallel surfaces (210a,b) defining a central recess (216), wherein said recess (216) is adapted to receive said alignment arms (220) therein providing for aligning said alignment arms with respect to said first alignment arm.
