Abstract
A wireless communication node selectively decodes a payload of a packet based on a measured signal strength of a decoded header of the packet and a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) used to encode the payload of the packet. In some embodiments, the MCS may be indicated in the decoded header of the packet.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- selectively decoding a payload of a packet based on a measured signal strength of a decoded header of the packet and a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) used to encode the payload of the packet.
A wireless communication node to selectively decode a payload of a packet based on a measured signal strength of a decoded header of the packet and a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) used to encode the payload of the packet.
A non-transitory computer readable medium embodying a set of executable instructions, the set of executable instructions to manipulate at least one processor to:
- selectively decode a payload of a packet based on a measured signal strength of a decoded header of the packet and a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) used to encode the payload of the packet.
