An apparatus for wireless communications, comprising:
- a processing system configured to generate a frame with an indication of a type of device that is to use a particular enhanced distributed channel access (EDCA) parameter set;
- and
- an interface for outputting the frame for transmission.
An apparatus for wireless communications, comprising:
- an interface for receiving a frame with an indication of a type of device that is to use a particular enhanced distributed channel access (EDCA) parameter set;
- and
- a processing system configured to determine whether the apparatus should use the particular EDCA parameter set based on the indication.
A method for wireless communications by an apparatus, comprising:
- generating, at an apparatus, a frame with an indication of a type of device that is to use a particular enhanced distributed channel access (EDCA) parameter set;
- and
- outputting the frame for transmission.
A method for wireless communications by an apparatus, comprising:
- receiving, at an apparatus, a frame with an indication of a type of device that is to use a particular enhanced distributed channel access (EDCA) parameter set;
- and
- determining, whether to use the particular EDCA parameter set based on the indication.
