Abstract
Methods, systems, devices, and computer readable medium for processing data in a digital subscriber line environment are disclosed. In one aspect methods include establishing a first data channel in a first system utilizing a first frequency band. Methods also include conveying, for a second system that establishes a second data channel over a second frequency band, handshake information using the first system.
Claims26
A method for processing data in a digital subscriber line environment comprising:
- establishing a first data channel in a first system utilizing a first frequency band;
- and
- conveying, for a second system that establishes a second data channel over a second frequency band, handshake information using the first system.
A device comprising:
- a first system that establishes a data channel over a first frequency band;
- a second system that establishes a second data channel over a second frequency band;
- and
- a processing unit that causes the second system to convey handshake information used to establish the second data channel using the first system.
A non-transitory computer readable medium encoded with instructions that upon execution by one or more processors cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
- establishing a first data channel in a first system utilizing a first frequency band;
- and
- conveying, for a second system that establishes a second data channel over a second frequency band, handshake information using the first system.
