Abstract
A mobile communication terminal and method are provided for running an application therein. When a user inputs a variable in an idle state, variable-related applications are displayed. When the user selects a predetermined application, the input variable is input as an input value of a predetermined input field of the selected application.

A mobile communication terminal, comprising:
- at least one application implemented on the mobile communication terminal;
- a controller for outputting variable-related applications when a user inputs a variable in an idle state, and inputting the input variable as an input value of a predetermined input field of a selected application when the user selects a predetermined application;
- and
- a display unit for displaying outputted variable-related applications.
