The data processing device includes a collection storage unit configured to collect and store emotion icon log data for an emotion icon activity of a user with respect to one or more services and an analysis processing unit configured to analyze the emotion icon activity of the user by using the emotion icon log data, and to provide, to a service server, a result obtained by analyzing the emotion icon activity of the user, to allow the service server to apply the result obtained by analyzing the emotion icon activity of the user, to the services.
