Abstract
In an approach to determining a time before a recipient views a communication, a computer receives a communication from a sender in a collaboration application. The computer determines one or more attributes of the communication, the attributes including at least a recipient of the communication, and a plurality of viewing data for the recipient of the communication. The computer determines, based, at least in part, on the one or more attributes of the communication and the plurality of viewing data for the recipient, a time before the recipient views the communication in the collaboration application.
Claims20
A method for determining a time before a recipient views a communication, the method comprising:
- a computer receiving a communication from a sender in a collaboration application;
- the computer determining one or more attributes of the communication, the attributes including at least a recipient of the communication;
- the computer determining a plurality of viewing data for the recipient of the communication;
- and
- the computer determining, based, at least in part, on the one or more attributes of the communication and the plurality of viewing data for the recipient, a time before the recipient views the communication in the collaboration application.
A computer program product for determining a time before a recipient views a communication, the computer program product comprising:
- one or more computer-readable storage media and program instructions stored on the one or more computer-readable storage media, the program instructions comprising:
- program instructions to receive a communication from a sender in a collaboration application;
- program instructions to determine one or more attributes of the communication, the attributes including at least a recipient of the communication;
- program instructions to determine a plurality of viewing data for the recipient of the communication;
- and
- program instructions to determine, based, at least in part, on the one or more attributes of the communication and the plurality of viewing data for the recipient, a time before the recipient views the communication in the collaboration application.
A computer system for determining a time before a recipient views a communication, the computer program product comprising:
- one or more computer processors;
- one or more computer-readable storage media;
- program instructions stored on the computer-readable storage media for execution by at least one of the one or more processors, the program instructions comprising:
- program instructions to receive a communication from a sender in a collaboration application;
- program instructions to determine one or more attributes of the communication, the attributes including at least a recipient of the communication;
- program instructions to determine a plurality of viewing data for the recipient of the communication;
- and
- program instructions to determine, based, at least in part, on the one or more attributes of the communication and the plurality of viewing data for the recipient, a time before the recipient views the communication in the collaboration application.
