Abstract
A power receiver includes a resonance coil, an oscillation unit, a communication unit, and a control unit. The resonance coil is configured to wirelessly receive power from a power source using magnetic field resonance or electric field resonance, the oscillation unit is configured to output a voltage which oscillates at a predetermined frequency, and the communication unit is configured to communicate with the power source. The control unit is configured to receive an output from the communication unit, and adjust a resonance frequency of the resonance coil using an output voltage from the oscillation unit.

A power receiver comprising:
- a resonance coil configured to wirelessly receive power from a power source using magnetic field resonance or electric field resonance;
- an oscillation unit configured to output a voltage which oscillates at a predetermined frequency;
- a communication unit configured to communicate with the power source;
- and
- a control unit configured to receive an output from the communication unit, and adjust a resonance frequency of the resonance coil using an output voltage from the oscillation unit.
A wireless power transfer system including at least one power source and at least one power receiver, wherein the power receiver comprises:
- a first resonance coil configured to wirelessly receive power from a power source using magnetic field resonance or electric field resonance;
- an oscillation unit configured to output a voltage which oscillates at a predetermined frequency;
- a first communication unit configured to communicate with the power source;
- and
- a first control unit configured to receive an output from the first communication unit, and adjust a resonance frequency of the first resonance coil using an output voltage from the oscillation unit.
A wireless power transfer method for wirelessly receiving power from a power source by a power receiver using magnetic field resonance or electric field resonance, the wireless power transfer method comprising:
- outputting from an oscillation unit to the power receiver a voltage which oscillates at a predetermined frequency, and
- adjusting a resonance frequency of the power receiver by using the voltage output from the oscillation unit.
