Electronic commerce web page management

A system, comprising:

• a database configured to store a plurality of change events and change event attributes, each change event is a future change to content for a web page;
• a display;
• a processor;
• and
• a memory communicatively coupled to the processor, wherein the memory is encoded with instructions and wherein the instructions when executed by the processor include:
• receiving a change event location located on the web page in a pre-deployment environment,
• querying the database to return a plurality of change events for the change event location within a duration period, wherein the duration period includes a start time and an end time,
• displaying the plurality of change events from the query on the display,
• prioritizing the plurality of change events from the query,
• selecting an active change event from the plurality of change events based on a priority, and
• displaying the active change event to a user via the display.

A computer program product comprising a computer readable storage device having a computer readable program stored therein, wherein the computer readable program, when executed on a computing device, causes the computing device to:

• receive a change event location located on a web page in a pre-deployment environment;
• query a database to return a plurality of change events for the change event location within a duration period, wherein the duration period includes a start time and an end time;
• display the plurality of change events from the query;
• prioritize the plurality of change events from the query;
• select an active change event from the plurality of change events based on a priority;
• and
• display the active change event to a user.
