Abstract
Access to personal information is restricted when analyzing errors in computer programs. Variables are named with prefixes to identify data that must be transformed before disclosure. If a variable has a name that requires transformation, the associated data must be transformed before resolving an error.
Claims20
A system, comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory storing code that when executed causes the processor to perform operations, the operations comprising:
- receiving notification of an error during execution of a computer program;
- receiving a name of a variable associated with an execution leg of the computer program at a time of the error;
- determining a naming prefix associated with the name of the variable associated with the execution leg of the computer program at the time of the error;
- querying an electronic table for the naming prefix associated with the name of the variable, the electronic table storing electronic entries for different naming prefixes that require transformation before resolving the error;
- determining a match between the naming prefix associated with the name of the variable and an electronic entry in the electronic table;
- determining a transformation before resolving the error in response to the match between the naming prefix and the electronic entry in the electronic table;
- retrieving an electronic value of data associated with the name of the variable;
- transforming the electronic value of data associated with the name of the variable to generate a transformed value in response to a requirement of the transformation before resolving the error;
- and
- sending the transformed value to a network address for resolution of the error associated with the execution leg of the computer program.
