A frame system for supporting flexible panels or displays, where the frame system includes at least one member formed from a memory material. The memory material is flexible in a first configuration and rigid in a second configuration.

A system for supporting a flexible panel comprising:
- at least one rigid or semi-rigid support;
- and
- at least one supporting member formed from a memory material, the memory material being flexible in a first configuration and rigid in a second configuration and having a substantially flat cross-section in the first configuration and a substantially curved, bent or circular cross-section in the second configuration.
