A bicycle stand including a frame, a flexible cable or chain for securing a bicycle to the frame, and a lockable container which is attached to the frame, the flexible cable or chain having at least one end secured within the container.

A bicycle stand comprising:
- a frame;
- a flexible cable for securing a bicycle to said frame;
- and
- a lockable container, said lockable container being attached to said frame, said flexible cable having at least one end thereof secured within said container.
