Abstract
A flexible display apparatus having a folding area and peripheral areas at sides of the folding area, the flexible display apparatus including: a flexible display panel configured to display an image; and an outer member on one surface of the flexible display panel and including a protrusion and an opening at the peripheral areas. The flexible display panel and the outer member are configured to be folded at the folding area, and the protrusion is inserted into the opening when the outer member is folded.
Claims20
A flexible display apparatus comprising a folding area and peripheral areas at sides of the folding area, the flexible display apparatus comprising:
- a flexible display panel configured to display an image;
- and
- an outer member on one surface of the flexible display panel and comprising a protrusion and an opening at the peripheral areas,
- wherein the flexible display panel and the outer member are configured to be folded at the folding area, and the protrusion is inserted into the opening when the outer member is folded.
A flexible display apparatus comprising a folding area and peripheral areas at sides of the folding area, the flexible display apparatus comprising:
- a flexible display panel configured to display an image;
- an outer member on one surface of the flexible display panel;
- and
- a flexible film facing the flexible display panel such that the outer member is between the flexible film and the flexible display panel, the flexible film comprising a protrusion and an opening at the peripheral areas,
- wherein the flexible display panel, the outer member, and the flexible film are configured to be folded at the folding area, and the protrusion is inserted into the opening when the flexible film is folded.
