A video apparatus, comprising:

• a storage medium configured to store a plurality of video data;
• a display unit having a first size;
• and
• a control unit configured to control the display unit to display a video list regarding the plurality of video data, the video list comprising a plurality of video items wherein each of the plurality of video items links to a corresponding video data from the plurality of video data, and each of the plurality of video items including a still image in association with a corresponding video data, and play time information of the corresponding video data, and
• in response to selecting at least one video item from among the plurality of video items through a user command, to control the display unit to display video image corresponding to the selected at least one video item in an area of a second size while the video list is displayed.
