Abstract
In a computer-implemented method for automatic network configuration of a pre-configured hyper-converged computing device network configuration information is requested from another pre-configured hyper-converged computing device already configured on a network. The network configuration information is received from the another pre-configured hyper-converged computing device. The network configuration is automatically performed by the pre-configured hyper-converged computing device such that the pre-configured hyper-converged computing device is automatically configured to the network.
Claims18
A computer-implemented method for automatic network configuration of a pre-configured hyper-converged computing device, comprising:
- requesting network configuration information from another pre-configured hyper-converged computing device already configured on a network;
- receiving said network configuration information from said another pre-configured hyper-converged computing device;
- and
- automatically performing network configuration by said pre-configured hyper-converged computing device such that said pre-configured hyper-converged computing device is automatically configured to said network.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having instructions embodied therein that when executed cause a computer system to perform a method for automatic network configuration of a pre-configured hyper-converged computing device, said method comprising:
- authenticating said pre-configured hyper-converged computing device;
- accessing network configuration information from another pre-configured hyper-converged computing device;
- and
- automatically performing network configuration by said pre-configured hyper-converged computing device without requiring user input such that said pre-configured hyper-converged computing device is automatically configured to said network.
