Abstract
An electronic device is provided including a battery and a controller configured to: measure a present level of the battery; and adjust an operation of a hardware component of the electronic device based on the present level of the battery in order to maintain a reference battery level, wherein the reference battery level is associated with a specified time period in which the electronic device is required to remain operational.
Claims19
An electronic device comprising:
- a battery;
- and
- a controller configured to:
- measure a present level of the battery;
- and
- adjust an operation of a resource of the electronic device based on the present level of the battery in order to maintain a reference battery level,
- wherein the reference battery level is associated with a specified time period in which the electronic device is required to remain operational.
A method comprising:
- detecting an input specifying a time period during which an electronic device is required to remain operational;
- measuring a present level of a battery of the electronic device;
- and
- based on the present level of the battery, adjusting an operation of a resource of the electronic device to maintain a reference battery level,
- wherein the reference battery level is associated with a specified time period in which the electronic device is required to remain operational.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing processor-executable instructions, which when executed by a processor cause the processor to perform a process comprising the steps of:
- detecting an input specifying a time period during which an electronic device is required to remain operational;
- measuring a present level of a battery of the electronic device;
- and
- based on the present level of the battery, adjusting an operation of a resource of the electronic device to maintain a reference battery level,
- wherein the reference battery level is associated with a specified time period in which the electronic device is required to remain operational.
