Abstract
An organic light emitting device comprises a first and a second electrode, an organic light emitting layer disposed between the first and the second electrode, a hole injection layer adjacent to a first electrode, and a common layer disposed on the hole injection layer, wherein the common layer serves as a hole transporting layer and an electron blocking layer.
Claims18
An organic light emitting device comprising:
- a first and a second electrode;
- an organic light emitting layer between the first and the second electrode;
- a hole injection layer adjacent to the first electrode;
- and
- a common layer on the hole injection layer,
- wherein the common layer serves as a hole transporting layer and an electron blocking layer.
An organic light emitting device comprising:
- a first and a second electrode;
- an organic light emitting layer arranged between the first and the second electrode;
- a hole injection layer adjacent to the first electrode;
- and
- a common layer disposed on the hole injection layer, transporting holes and blocking electrons,
- wherein the common layer has a HOMO (Highest Occupied Molecular Orbital) energy level higher than or equal to a work function of the first electrode.
An organic light emitting device comprising:
- a first and a second electrode;
- an organic light emitting layer between the first and the second electrode, including a red emission layer, a green emission layer, and a blue emission layer;
- a hole injection layer adjacent to the first electrode;
- and
- a common layer corresponding to the red emission layer, the green emission layer and the blue emission layer, on the hole injection layer;
- a first hole transporting layer corresponding to the red emission layer;
- and
- a second hole transporting layer corresponding to the green emission layer, wherein the common layer has a HOMO (Highest Occupied Molecular Orbital) energy level higher than or equal to a work function of the first electrode.
The organic light emitting device of claim 16, wherein a LUMO (Lowest Unoccupied Molecular Orbital) energy level of the common layer is higher than 2.3 eV.
