- request employee logout at the control panel at completion of the employee's work shift;
- and
- collect data related to at least one of employee work hours, shift frequency, and employee cost.
A computer-program product for employee time entry using an automation and security system, the computer-program product comprising a non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions executable by a processor to:
- receive an employee login at a user interface of an automation and security system at initiation of an employee shift;
- receive an employee logout at the user interface at completion of the employee shift;
- determine employee work data related to the employee login and logout;
- and
- generate a notice when a predetermined criteria related to the employee work data is met.
