Abstract
Methods and systems are described for awarding a green score to a business using an automation and security system. According to at least one embodiment, an apparatus for awarding a green score to a business includes a processor, a memory in electronic communication with the processor, and instructions stored in the memory which are executable by a processor to receive data related to at least one of energy usage and energy conservation practices by a business, determine whether the energy usage by the business meets threshold levels, determine an energy green score for the business, and display the energy green score.
Claims20
An apparatus for awarding a green score to a business, comprising:
- a processor;
- a memory in electronic communication with the processor;
- and
- instructions stored in the memory, the instructions being executable by a processor to:
- receive data related to at least one of energy usage and energy conservation practices by a business;
- determine whether the energy usage by the business meets threshold levels;
- determine an energy green score for the business based at least in part on the threshold determination;
- and
- display the energy green score.
A computer-program product for awarding a green score to a business, the computer-program product comprising a non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions executable by a processor to:
- receive data related to at least one of energy usage and energy conservation practices by a business;
- determine an energy green score for the business based on the received data;
- and
- display the energy green score.
A computer-implemented method for awarding a green score to a business, comprising:
- receiving data related to energy conservation practices by a business;
- determining an energy green score for the business based on the data;
- and
- displaying the energy green score.
