Abstract
A method of managing events is disclosed. It is determined that a user is present at a particular location within an event venue. It is determined that the user has reserved the event venue for a particular time period. A selection is received from the user of a particular merchant that is committed to providing services at the event during the particular time period. The particular location within the event is associated with the particular merchant. A notification of the association of the particular location within the event venue with the particular merchant is generated for communication to the particular merchant.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- determining that a user is present at a particular location within an event venue;
- determining that the user has reserved the event venue for a particular time period;
- receiving a selection from the user of a particular merchant that is committed to providing services at the event during the particular time period;
- associating the particular location within the event with the particular merchant, wherein the associating is performed by a computer processor;
- generating a notification of the association of the particular location within the event venue with the particular merchant for communication to the particular merchant.
A system comprising:
- one or more modules implemented by one or more processors, the one or more modules configured to:
- determine that a user is present at a particular location within an event venue;
- determine that the user has reserved the event venue for a particular time period;
- receive a selection from the user of a particular merchant that is committed to providing services at the event during the particular time period;
- associate the particular location within the event with the particular merchant;
- generate a notification of the association of the particular location within the event venue with the particular merchant for communication to the particular merchant.
A non-transitory machine readable medium embodying a set of instructions that, when executed by a processor, causes the processor to perform operations comprising:
- determining that a user is present at a particular location within an event venue;
- determining that the user has reserved the event venue for a particular time period;
- receiving a selection from the user of a particular merchant that is committed to providing services at the event during the particular time period;
- associating the particular location within the event with the particular merchant, wherein the associating is performed by a computer processor;
- generating a notification of the association of the particular location within the event venue with the particular merchant for communication to the particular merchant.
