Abstract
Various aspects of a device and a method for rendering multimedia content are disclosed herein. The method determines a ratio between a first resolution of multimedia content and a second resolution of a display screen of a display device. At least one user input is received that selects a region of interest (ROI) on the multimedia content being rendered on the display screen. Based on the determined ratio, the selected ROI on the multimedia content being rendered on the display screen is dynamically modified based on the determined ratio.
Claims19
A method for rendering multimedia content, the method comprising:
- in a display device:
- determining a ratio between a first resolution of said multimedia content and a second resolution of a display screen of said display device;
- receiving at least one user input, wherein said at least one user input selects a region of interest (ROI) on said multimedia content being rendered on said display screen;
- and
- dynamically modifying said selected ROI on said multimedia content being rendered on said display screen based on said determined ratio.
A system for rendering multimedia content, said system comprising:
- one or more processors in a display device, said one or more processors being operable to:
- determine a ratio between a first resolution of said multimedia content and a second resolution of a display screen of said display device;
- receive at least one user input, wherein said at least one user input selects a region of interest (ROI) on said multimedia content being rendered on said display screen;
- and
- dynamically modify said selected ROI on said multimedia content being rendered on said display screen based on said determined ratio.
A system for rendering multimedia content on a display device, said system comprising:
- one or more processors in an online application server communicably connected to said display device, said one or more processors being operable to:
- determine a ratio between a first resolution of said multimedia content and a second resolution of a display screen of said display device;
- receive at least one user input, wherein said at least one user input selects a region of interest (ROI) on said multimedia content being rendered on said display screen;
- and
- dynamically modify said selected ROI on said multimedia content being rendered on said display screen based on said determined ratio.
A non-transitory computer readable medium, having stored thereon, a computer program having at least one code section executable by a computer, thereby causing the computer to perform the steps comprising:
- in a display device:
- determining a ratio between a first resolution of said multimedia content and a second resolution of a display screen of said display device;
- receiving at least one user input, wherein said at least one user input selects a region of interest (ROI) on said multimedia content being rendered on said display screen;
- and
- dynamically modifying said selected ROI on said multimedia content being rendered on said display screen based on said determined ratio.
